"By far, the worst practice I have ever dealt with. I was seen for an IUD placement that I verified prior to the visit would be covered at 100% with the receptionist I booked the appointment with as well as my insurance. The experience itself was experience was awful. At my follow up visit a week after I was told it wasn’t placed properly and had to be removed the same day. I was also given a prescription for emergency contraceptive by the physician I saw at the visit. I was told I could schedule a visit to try again but refused because of how horrible the first attempt was. The office billed out a ton of different line items to my insurance (who reviewed them and even agreed that they weren’t billed correctly) and something that was supposed to be covered at 100% ended up with me being responsible for an over $800 bill when I didn’t even get what I originally went to the office for. I tried to discuss this with them multiple times but the office staff is rude and only care about money. They refuse to work with people although they will claim that’s what they are trying to do. They have incorrectly billed multiple times and then sent me to a collections agency. After all of this I also found out that Dr Montanarella has been involved in with a medical misconduct lawsuit. If I had known any of this I would have never went to this office. Do yourself a favor, stay FAR away from this place."
