"I wish I could give the SJH Midwifery Team 100 stars. I switched to them when 5 months pregnant with my first child and it was the best decision I made. From the prenatal appointments to the labor and delivery and through postnatal recovery and care - I am blown away by this group of women. I was able to meet each of them throughout my prenatal appointments in order to get familiar with them as they are all on call at different times of the week, so you do not know who will be there for baby's arrival! Rebecca and Sarah ended up being the midwives when I was induced and they were amazing - coaching me through the labor, listening to my needs/wishes, treating me like a friend vs. just another medical patient, and being honest while laying out options. I always felt so empowered and listened to. They even go out of their way to check in. Weeks and months after delivery, I still get messages from some of them wishing me a happy birthday or inviting me to a postpartum support group. A fantastic super team of women. I love them all so much!"

"The practice itself is fine however their billing department is filled with the most incompetent people I’ve ever worked with . I left the practice because of how much stress it caused. It took me 20+ phone calls to correct someone’s clerical error as to why my claims were being denied by my insurance. They put my husbands name as the patient. I left the practice in August and I’m still receiving phone calls that it’s not updated 4 months later."

"Dr. Wasserman was unsympathetic and frustrating to work with after I suffered my first miscarriage (as if losing a child wasn't devastating enough). After explaining I had a blighted ovum, he insensitively quipped, "So at least you didn't actually lose a baby." No doctor with even an ounce of bedside manner would say that to a grieving mother. He was also frustrating to work with in general, canceling appointments at the last minute and ordering treatments without consulting me or giving me time to discuss or research the effects and risks. The only reason I give this place two stars instead of one is because the reception staff were incredibly kind and helpful when I called during my miscarriage. I was absolutely distraught and didn't know what to do, and they calmly and kindly walked me through it and told me what emergency symptoms to watch for."

"Dr Tran should be fired. She is the prime REASON I lost my son! 17 weeks pregnant and she Would NOT listen to me at all. She kept pushing off my concerns & it took me 12 yrs to get pregnant and I may never get pregnant again. Do not trust this office with your needs."
