"ISM is one 3 pain centers that I have been to for epidural steroid injections. I have been a patient of ISM since 2010 and I have always received top notch care. This past week was no exception. I have had SI joint dysfunction and degenerative disc disease since 2006. On Sunday 1/7, I did something to my right SI joint and have been in acute pain since. I lucked out that my surgeon was in the office, had a cancellation on Monday and he sent over a referral to ISM right away. I called ISM and left a message on Tuesday afternoon that I needed to schedule a consult. Faith called me back on Wednesday and told me that there was a cancellation for the following day at 1:30! I went to the ISM Barrington office for my consult and was checked in by Faith. She was very warm and welcoming when she greeted me. I was a bit emotional given the pain and lack of sleep. Faith was wonderful as she reassured me that Dr. Slezak and their team would take great care of me. The nurse(I believe it was Season?) brought me to an exam room for intake and vitals. She was extremely professional, empathetic and efficient. Suzanne came in immediately after the nurse left the room. This was the first time I have seen Suzanne and she had a great bedside manner. She listened to me intently and was very knowledgeable. I have an appointment on 1/22 for my injection, which is very quick. This will be the 5th injection that Dr. Slezak and his team has performed on me. I cannot say enough positive things about my experiences with ISM!"

"It is early days as a patient, but so far Dr Slezak and his staff have been spectacular. They got me in for an initial appointment in days when everyone else in the state would have had me lay around in pain for weeks to months. I was scheduled for an injection a week after my first appointment. Being we have a bit of a drive, we left early and ended up arriving early. I was in and out, treatment complete before my scheduled appointment time. As someone who has been through, the all to often horrible state of medicine in the state these days, I would highly recommend Dr Slezak and his team at ISM!"
