"Disappointed to say that I was not impressed with most of the brunch food. The staff was friendly. Mimosas were good. Biscuits were great. Potatoes were undercooked and under-salted. The bagel with the lox plate was very thin and so tough it was challenging to chew. The eggs for the breakfast sandwich were a cooked rectangle, as was the frittata - the added ingredients were just piled on top. I wish I had known these things before coming. This place looks very good for dinner."
"I have always enjoyed the Salted Slate. Excellent and most of all Unique menu items. Delicious and creative meals and cocktails. The Peruvian Bridesmaid for instance today...blueberry in a lovely white rum concoction. Yum!"
"This is one of my favorite all-time places to eat in Providence Rhode Island and the East Side. The owner Ben takes great care to have an eclectic outstanding menu and consistent offerings. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The Salted Slate has one of the best bacon burgers I’ve ever had. The garden burger is fantastic as well and the meatballs are to die for. A great atmosphere and a great staff. Try them for brunch too! You will find I reasonably priced offerings and tasty fare. This is a must visit to this restaurant! Five stars all the way!"
