"I’m giving this review with the hopes that the owners will take down their political signs. Us democrats fish and enjoy wildlife too. Wanted to stay there with my husband , but when a business takes a political stand on either side, it’s a hard pass. Plus LeRage LePage is a PIG. Just saying."
"We had a wonderful stay at Loon Ridge! Our 2 and 4 year old boys enjoyed the natural setting and kept busy canoeing, hanging out at the club house and the playground, and playing corn hole. It was comfortable and clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Location was great - short drive to downtown Belgrade which has some cute shops, bakeries, etc. Highly recommend!"
"A very peaceful Maine getaway. Cabins are clean and very cozy, overlooking the lake. You can take canoes, kayaks for free. Our kitchen was well-stocked, beds very comfortable. Owners kind and friendly. One small downside is the sound of traffic from the main road, not many amenities in the area but you don’t really need to leave! We will definitely be back!"
"A lovely stay of three days in late August. In Belgrade, Maine, on a stream between 2 lakes. Near Hammond Lumber, also, close to Augusta and Waterville. A rebuilt “resort” with kayaks available at no extra charge., Lovely, rebuilt and new cabins with many amenities, kitchens that are well equipped. Outdoor, bug free dining room, super well-equipped large. Just a nice, small place to spend several days and nights."
"Cabin was clean and well cared for. Owners are very friendly and there to answer questions if needed. Cabins have full kitchen and amazing views. Free use of paddle boats and kayaks was very cool. Pontoon boats are available to rent. Close to civilization yet quiet and a great getaway!"
