"The shop has a lot of vintage items, unique pieces and crafts BUT the lady working there was very rude to my daughter and lectured her about not touching anything. We walked out."

"The owner is absolutely rude, I went in with my family, I had a water bottle in my hand as we had been walking around town, my daughter saw a Native American display that had a Batman mask on the face. She thought it was cute so took a photo. The owner came out of nowhere and started yelling at my daughter to delete it, I asked her to not yell at my daughter, She looked at me told me to have her delete it and that she doesn’t allow photos or drinks in her store. There were no signs anywhere in the store that stated her rules. As we decided that we were not welcomed in her store we decided to leave, as we started walking out she continued berating my family and I. If this is the way she treats all of her customers it’s surprising she still in business."

"I will never go to this place again. I too have a negative experience to share about the shop owner. They have a Native America statue decorated as Batman. I politely told the owner that it was offensive and maybe they should take it off. Her response was “everything is offensive these days and how can you raise your daughter that way?” My 6 year old was with me. That was not the response I expected at all. She could have been a nicer person and simply replied “I’m sorry you feel that way, it wasn’t my intention.” Instead I’m here writing a negative review…"

"I travel to Boothbay Harbor every year and I also shop local stores for to help their commerce. I have patronized this store on two other separate occasions and never really had a problem. Unfortunately like most stores they do contain a certain amount of reproduction Chinese items that are over priced. Sometimes you do need a closer look to make an informed decision before a purchase. I had placed a repro sign for "Old Town Canoes" on the counter in which I intended to purchase, when a particular pocket knife in the case caught my eye. I asked to see it as I wanted to inspect it as the original company "Imperial Schrade" is out of business and cheap copies are made in China. I took a picture so I could read the writing as the lighting is very dim. Unfortunately now I digress, upon taking picture the owner decided she wanted to admonish me for taking said picture and called me rude. She further tried to placate me and speak to me as if I was her child. After her tirade I simply apologized and informed her I would not be buying the sign and left. I further digress by saying this absolute miserable waste of human flesh deserves no patronage and hope she goes out of business."

"My sister took a picture of me wearing a hat to see how it would look. The clerk came screaming from the back of the store to stop taking pictures. She then placed her hands to her forehead and stated I knew it was going to be this kind of day. She yelled you just don’t understand as she walked away. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I had planned to buy several items but left stating I will never step foot in this store again. All the other stores were fabulous."
