Pediatric Orthopedic Urgent Care Clinic

"As a mother of an 8 year old little boy who is in a lot of pain for the past 2 weeks I am very let down by your office! We used to see an excellent doctor at Tufts Floating Hospital for Children Ortho for a few years when my son was previously diagnosed with tumors in his other knee (which thankfully were benign and dissolved)... Terrible that they closed that department down there and now I was referred to this office last week. I called because my son was at urgent care and his pcp twice last week and we were referred to this office. I was told he could come in and see Dr. Heizlman (do not know how to spell this) on Tuesday morning. Less than 24 hours before my appointment and AFTER 2 confirmation emails and reminders from your office I get a call from a woman who now says that unfortunately this doctor does not think she should see my son that he should be seen in SPORTS MEDICINE who then went on to tell me that Heizlman works more with children that have tumors and oncology (because she had no idea at that moment that is exactly what my son has). I am extremely upset and disappointed because she has decided that NOW he needs to see SPORTS MEDICINE he should sit and wait until MAY!? in pain everyday? Please keep in mind my son has had NO SPORTS INJURIES and this is for TUMORS of which I was told is what you deal with directly from your own workers on the phone. No thank you I will find a doctor that does not pass the buck and let an 8 year old sit around hurting because of god knows what silly reason. And have his parents sit not knowing if he has cancerous or non cancerous tumors until MAY at the earliest. Thanks alot for letting this family down."
