"Today I visited 7 different Pawn/ Gold and Silver dealers on the North shore. This establishment was last on my list. Customer service was courteous, polite and up-front. I've used this establishment in the past before but for gold only. Today I brought in 620 grams of .999 fine silver bullion/sovereigns which was 20 individual one troy ounce .999 Sovereign and silver rounds. Today's market spot price was $25.25 per Troy ounce. So, I brought in about $500.00 in spot worth of fine silver and was looking to inquire about a loan of 200 dollars and wanted to use the silver as collateral. Spot was $500.00 on my silver bullion but there was probably another $100-$125 worth of premiums on the sovereigns and rounds if sold individually. So, in MARKET VALUE for my silver collateral was approximately 500.00 in silver spot price and then if sold individually 600.00-625.00 after premiums for a $200.00 loan. The Outcome- In the end, this was the only place out of the 7 different establishments I visited that had no interest in the silver. So, this is NOT the place to bring your silver bullion. To be fair, I don't think he knew I wanted ONLY a $200.00 dollar loan. I originally told him I was looking for a loan and had $500.00 in spot price fine silver but never got to tell him I was only looking for 200. He may have thought I was actually looking for 500 because I started the conversation stating I had 500 in silver spot......but I never got to tell him I was looking for 200 dollars because when I started to present him the silver.....the look on his face of the silver was almost "Disgust" and no interest whatsoever even tho silver bullion is the hottest metal selling today. Bullion dealers have a backlog for silver sovereigns and rounds 6-8 weeks wait because the market for private sales is THAT HOT. You go on eBay this very minute and it's pretty much the only place you can private sale Silver Bullion in small quantities and it's sell out after sellout when people list them. Gold is for the rich people ONLY now. That's why silver has blown up for the everyday guy like myself over the last year because it's something the majority of the public can own. If your in the gold industry....you 1000000% should be in the silver industry as well, especially right now. When your looking at spot price ONLY to dictate how hot the silver market is....your missing what's actually happening in the private sales sector like eBay and bullion dealers. Overall, this establishment has been in this neighborhood for years and years. The customer service has always been great. If you have gold, like everyone else, they will help you out but silver is not their thing unfortunately. For everything else, I recommend this establishment. Out of the 7 establishments my highest loan offer was $300.00 and the rest were willing to give me 250 and 275 for my silver bullion as collateral. So people, make sure you shop around with your .999 fine silver bullion because most of the gold and silver establishments understand how crazy the silver bullion market is for silver sovereigns and rounds right now in the private sale market like eBay."
