"I am not a regular customer of TD Bank by choice, as I am not impressed with their respective rates and fees. Will add that I do have my name on an account with my husband at a Massachusetts TD branch, and have never encountered any problems there. I went into this branch hoping to cash a check issued to from a TD Bank account. I was asked if I had any direct accounts with them. When I indicated I didn't, I was told that I'd be charged a fee of $10.00 to cash the check. The teller was less than helpful. I just took my check and left. Went to one of the neighboring banks on Newport Ave. without any difficulty."
