"I had a savings account with this bank for years. It was kind of "under the mattress" money. When I opened the account, I was told that there would be no fees, but after a year, I started getting monthly "dormant" fees. I rarely checked my statements so by the time I realized it was going on, I was short $60. I mentioned it to management and they refunded $5. Really? What's the point? The account is gone now and was acquired by their next door neighbor, Bank of America. No mystery fees there. I had a CD with BofA for years and the only activity was interest. Sad that a local bank is lecherous, but the "big bad" megabank is not."

We checked, and they had the best CD rates available at half a percent minimum above any of the big banks. We started out just needing a simple checking account, but we opened a CD with them soon after as well. Highly recommended!"
