"I was astonished by the poor customer service I received in the store. Apparently, if you have a problem, they make you call a phone number on a poster on the wall. When I reached the person, they were from the online Ralph Lauren business and unable to help me. I asked the staff if they were empowered to make customers happy, and their answer was no. I was remarkably calm the entire time; I got ganged up by four different people, with one of them shouting at me. I had a relatively minor issue with their jeans; they had a belt loop that had detached. It was less than six months old and worn a few times. They insisted that I call customer service to ship it back myself. However, the person on the phone couldn't help me because they were with the online business, not the store business. I spent a lot of money in that store, no more."
"Organizing clothes staffs are very rude! I was holding too much clothes so I put them on the table which I didn’t realize it’s their organizing table. One black girl came and didn’t say anything like “excuse me” but standing there and give me attitude. I said sorry and she said nothing. Worst staff in Assembly! Staff in the checkout is nice tho."
"Be careful with this store. Used a credit card at this store that I rarely use then fraud transactions occurred from CA. If you’re the owner, check the card machines for fake covers that steal card info. Based on the kids who work there, only a matter of time they turn to thieves."
"I've never shopped in this store before, but today they had a half off sale on outerwear. We got 2 coats for $466. Without the sale, they originally would have been $1,096 together. It was a GREAT purchase!! (Here's a picture of mine)"
"There were a ton of great sales going on. The store was organized and spotless. The employees on the floor were extremely helpful and kind, even helping me pick out good combinations for a new outfit. Checkout was painstaking slow, however, for just three items. The cashiers were talking about their lunch break together, basically ignoring me, and then eventually he stopped scanning my items just to talk to his friend for a good 15 seconds. I loved the clothing and selection, but that last bit was frustrating."
