"Not all that glitters is gold. School suffers from biased discipline, biased rewards and nepotism gallore. The actual teaching is based more on personal opinion and beliefs as opposed to actual fact based or scientific instruction. I've seen better Christians serving time in prison."

"God is at work in this school. My two sons have been at Mount Zion since Kindergarten. They have different learning styles and interests and the teachers have done a fantastic job each year with both of them. The smaller classes mean they have more individualized instruction and support, while the innovation and creativity of the learning environment reinforces the lessons. They are serious about academics at MZ, but they do not do a thing without making sure God is at the center of it all. I am so glad to have found this amazing school and community."

When my son's feelings got hurt by another student (as does happen with 4th graders sometimes), they didn't just discipline the offending student - they re-affirmed the relationship through reconciliation. The academics are very good, but I feel the real "gold" in this school lies in the caring they show for each and every student."
