"Attended this school from 6th to 8th grade, graduated in 2010. There were several occasions where I felt like staff intentionally made me feel isolated or different than other students, promoted clique culture and had little care for students' mental health. The education was decent, but faculty do pick favorites and it results in disconnect between student and teacher. The only benefit was my ability to complete math and science at the regents level in 8th grade (though I was threatened to have this taken away from me by my math teacher, not a discussion on what I could do better as a student, but 'If I don't put in more effort I will be removed from the class.' (Yes I remember, it was traumatizing.) I was not allowed to partake in communion because I was not baptized Catholic (despite being baptized in my own church). This was humiliating and isolating."

"don’t send your kids here. i went here for 4 years. i was insanely behind when i got to highschool. they don’t prepare kids for further education. with that, many of the teachers and administration clearly have no idea how to actually treat kids. i’m in college now but it took years to recover from the complete lack of education i received here."
