"Great spot to walk across the thawing ice to chill at! Just beware of the police telling you to get back to the mainland."
"A little overgrown and thorny, but a quiet, all-natural island with a sizeable single pine tree resulting in the nickname "Christmas Island" by some of the locals. Once we were met with an angry mother goose, so beware of the wildlife!"
"It is illegal to swim, boat, or go in the surrounding Spring Pond, so it is very hard to legally access. However it is technically legal to access the island, however you or any of your modes of transportation would not be allowed to touch the water. It is a local drinking supply, so residents and police alike take notice to violators."
