"Extremely terrible scheduling service - they rescheduled my original appointment, and when I went at the rescheduled date, I was told my appointment was not scheduled. Do not even try to get an MRI here! I booked an MRI originally for Wednesday, but was called by Gab (the receptionist?) a week prior who asked me to change my date up for Tuesday since there was no radiologist on site and the scan I needed required a radiologist present. I understood and moved my work schedule to accommodate this change. Tuesday morning, I called Gab to confirmed my arrival time for that day. When I arrived in the afternoon, the staff told me that my appointment was instead scheduled for Wednesday. I informed them that it was moved up based on what Gab said and I confirmed with her in the morning.They asked for proof of the interaction, and luckily I still had the name and date of the interaction from a voicemail she left. They called Gab, who was out at lunch, and she insisted instead that she asked to move my appointment from Tuesday to Wednesday instead. The voicemail proves that this wasn’t the case, and I had to again say that it was rescheduled for Tuesday at their request. They couldn’t find an alternative for me, so long story short I did not get the MRI I needed. The interaction was very unprofessionally handled, especially since they asked moved my original appointment the week before and then did not see me at my rescheduled time that they asked for. I planned for my schedule to be seen at the original date, then changed it at their request, and then they asked me to change it back after I showed up and they realized they made an error. This place is also not easy to get to and cost me transportation and time missed from working, overall extremely unprofessional and not respectful of what patients are going through!"
"Fantastic staff, I’m incredibly anxious and claustrophobic and Harry and Christina were very patient and kind with me. They made me feel so comfortable and communicated with me throughout the exam. What a great experience."
"Excellent care all around. The Shields staff at Brighton made everything from insurance approvals to the procedure and follow-up easy to navigate. In addition to the administrative ease, everyone from the folks at the deck to the techs to the docs on site were warm, caring, and thoughtful making an uneasy day go so much more comfortably. Thank you to everyone at the Brighton office for making this process as painless as possible!"
"Honestly, I had a fantastic experience today. The check-in process was painless, and my appointment started directly on-time. Jack was very kind and made an otherwise scary and unknown experience as pleasant and human as possible. The other radiologist was also kind and was very quick in getting the IV in. The scan itself was fine, there really aren’t many ways to make an MRI more pleasant. The radiologists were clearly communicating what was happening, which took away some of the anxiety. I can’t exactly say I plan on coming back here, but if for some reason I need another MRI, I will be returning here."
"I was hesitant to go here based on the unfair reviews given. My appointment was today and I had a really good experience. Front desk person was knowledgeable and informative. The waiting area pristine. My technician Anna super talented and guided me through the procedure, the other technician working with her, Harry was kind and explain every step of the MRI itself. My MRI results were deliver to me earlier than expected, easy to access and conveniently online. Yes, it can be frustrating calling Shields over the phone but so what! grab a coffee and a couple of seats and relax, they will get to you eventually. I wanted to take the time to write a fair review based on my experience today. I would highly recommend Shields."
