Shields MRI at Brockton 265 Westgate Drive, Brockton, MA 02301

"I'm very disappointed of this location. 10/03 my appointment was scheduled for 11:40am, at 10:12 I received a call from Shield that someone had canceled if I wanted to come in at 10:40 instead. I agreed. When I was brought to the room, I got poked 4 times trying to locate my vein. Each time she poked me, I assumed she had found the vein cause I can see blood running the tube, then she secured it with a tape, however, when it was time to administer the IV, she removed the tape and started wiggling the needle to insert the IV. One the lady recommended to reschedule then before coming, I have to schedule with my PCP to to have the IV administer before showing up for my MRI, so absurd, really it shows no professional were present. Now my hand is swollen I'm in pain, I wish Google had the option to post a picture to show the back of my hand. Worst experience ever. Sad.Not sure if I'll be returning back to Shield ever again."

"Went for an MRI of my knee. I had forgotten to mention my claustrophobia but it worked out. They used the short bore machine and I tolerated it well. Checking in was okay. They asked if I had filled out the paperwork that had been sent but I never saw it. It didn't seem to slow down my getting in. The techs were nice, helpful, and answered my questions."

"There are not enough accolades in the English dictionary to describe just how fantastic the entire staff at Sheilds MRI, Brockton is.  I am severely claustrophobic with the added anxiety/panic disorder.  Not only did they not blink an eye over that, but they also allowed my husband in with me to assist in keeping me calm without missing a beat. The Reader's Digest version is that I didn't have a lot of respect or good experiences with medical professionals.  However, the entire staff completely changed my feeling about the medical professionals as a whole. I HIGHLY recommend them!   To sum it up, they are the very definition of quintessential professionals."

"Well this place has gone way downhill. First I had a complete violation of HIPPA, When the took my chart and gave it to someone else but that's not bad enough. I had someone's chart in mine. Then I had another MRI appointment and wanted me to wait a total of an 1 hr after I arrived on time. I'm a spine patient I can't sit that long. They could care less I was leaving. I had to call when I got home to reschedule. She couldn't schedule me to next month to bad follow up is Friday"

"3 days of phone calls from Shields after they, the facility booked my appointment then they are telling me they need more information (which they should have had from prior appointments) and then telling me I was all set for the appointment for a late call then telling me they have to reschedule (different shift) because they needed more information. I’ve been there numerous times so lack of communication, never put my information in the system from the other times I’ve been there. It’s a wonder that they are still open."
