"Nice beach. Parking is free after 5. Or 4 depending. Lots of parking. Beach is flat and open. Gradual into water. Can walk out 20 feet or more. Sand is dark and fine. It can get everywhere. Bring water to wash off if pavilion closed. Algae tends to accumulate in the southern section. The sewer plant is also next to the beach. The town sewer pipe extends out into ocean."
"This is confident 2 star review, the most 2 star beach I've ever been to. You pay $14 to get in and park. . . but for what? Sure there are bathrooms (kinda not great condition) and changing rooms (also kinda not great) and ZERO trashcans. There are vendors selling ice cream and food everywhere but no where to toss your trash responsibly afterwards. The whole "take your trash home with you" policy, is a bit overly idealistic and it ends up everywhere. Somehow the beach remains mildly clean but the trash ends up in the ocean come on, $14 a car. Pay your lifeguards, put out some trashcans (or put them near the indoor areas if you are worried about the seagulls) maintain your bathrooms. It isn't hard and it doesn't take a master class in accounting to budget this effectively. 2 thumbs down."
"Beautiful beach with lots I mean constant waves. Wouldn't recommend for little kids. Bring your boogie boards! Couldn't find a Dels truck or stand but still didn't damper the day. My Doberman loved it as well."
"Good beach and facilities..all new kind of, and good shop to buy hats, shirts, etc. Concession stand too, with food and Del's Lemonade."
"Beautiful view of the ocean and Point Judith Lighthouse in the distance. Neat clean facility and restrooms. However, we wondered why there were no shells on the beach and why the water was brown. We were told there is a nearby sewage treatment plant- too bad!"
