"Always great to be able to run into this store and find what you are looking for. Prices are reasonable and their deli counter is great. I went in to buy some pork pies and they had some, so I was very happy to be able to buy some for the holiday."
"New owners and it's shows and smells very clearly. I bought a ice cream cone from the freezer (yes its winter but I wanted a big cone with a waffle cone) I bought a few other items (stay away from the produce, yucky and way past ripe stages) and went home (live down the street) open my ice cream, it melted once and all fell to one side and it was all freezer burnt and just gross. The other items were from manufacturer in boxed that were close to expiration but still ok. No more baked good. They are friendly enough but improve on your food and attention to such. I'm sad they are no longer the Ray's we all knew. This change isn't for the better I hate to say."
"They have a HUGE problem with SALTED PORK. Seems like they get shipment every week or every other week, but salted pork shelf ALWAYS empty or gets empty within next two days after shipment. Come on, you what, can’t provide enough until next supply comes? What’s wrong, there is no pork in the whole state? That’s the only item I was coming there for and I’m greatly disappointed. Never thought there would be such a shortage of plain salted PORK."
"Always fresh cut meats at reasonable prices. The best place for fresh steaks and tender chops in Biddeford. Staff has never been anything but nice, and helpful. They don't have everything, but more often than not they've got exactly what I'm looking for."
"Ray Markey has top quality meat for a steal..lol so it seems. The meat is so fresh am red I will never buy from other stores when it comes to meat.. 150 an filled my freezer"
