"Pool maintenance is an extremely loose term for this company. Once a week some one scrubs and vacuums your pool. You are expected to administer your own chemicals and the moment something doesn’t go right—they don’t do the job you scheduled them for or they tell you they did something when they didn’t. I have been struggling to get my pool up and running this year since they opened (something I’ve never had a problem when I had a previous pool maintenance company)and my pool has been unusable under their “care”. Find someone else because they promise the world over the phone and never follow up."

"EDIT AFTER RESPONSE: Not doing the maintenance on pools that aren't yours is totally understandable. what's not understandable is me being VERY upfront at the first conversation with your team that I didn't get the pool from you and being told by the person on the phone who confirmed with her manager that you would be able to. I also understand that help is hard to find, but after several weeks, I would think someone, anyone, would be able to answer a very simple phone call to give me the respect of a response and to apologize for the mistake in giving me bad information. Why just ignore your customers in hopes they'll go away? Not good customer service. And seeing a lot of these other reviews talking about the same thing, as well as speaking with other pool owners who have had the same issues... the common theme remains: a lack of communication on your business's part. It's a very solvable problem in the grand scheme of running a business, despite being short on help. Plenty of other businesses still answer their phones regularly and are still able to operate their business. I really wanted you all to be better given you're so close to my home. Really disappointed with Blue Dolphin. 6+ voicemails over 15 phone calls, and 3 online web inquiries and they go unanswered. They simply do not call their customers back. The one time I got them on the phone to try to schedule maintenance, I heard the person who answered the phone say "oops, I answered by mistake" and was told someone would call me back that afternoon. That was 2 weeks ago and no one has called since, despite my repeated attempts. I'm done trying to give this place my money. I guess my business is not wanted by this company, so I'll go elsewhere."

"Let me save you some time. Hire Blue Dolphin for your new pool installation. Being such a large expense, we spoke with multiple vendors. The owner has been doing this for years and was so helpful in helping us understand the trade-offs. We appreciated the honesty of their sharing their strengths and areas where they are developing. For instance, I wanted a feature that wasn't currently in their wheelhouse to their level of comfort. Together we formulated a plan and we're thrilled with the outcome. The people doing the work come installation time were incredibly hard working but were always courteous and friendly. At the close of the project, they felt like family. A special call out to Scott who has such a calm demeanor and was amazing. Our one challenge was in regards to communication. It was at times tough to understand exactly where we were in the course of the project, or whether certain outstanding issues were going to be addressed. In the end, our happiness was the most important and they stood behind every promise and addressed every wrinkle. I think that the communication issues are likely a symptom of the industry that tries to do so much, so fast, in such a small period of time. These guys are working endless hours and are committed. It's just hard to know that when it is your first time. I am so happy that we chose Blue Dolphin and will recommend them to anyone. We love our pool!"

"Never use Blue Dolphin Pools & Spas Inc! Blue Dolphin installed a brand new pool liner over five years ago and after hundreds of calls, emails, visits to their store, promises they would be there to fix it they haven’t. Below are pictures (I just took the cover off the pool so it hasn’t been cleaned yet) but you can see by the pictures they do very subpar work (and that’s being nice) once you pay them they do not follow up. Please share with others so they don’t have this happen to them. Blue Dolphin does not stand by their work! I have spoken with so many people who have had this happen to them and to people who have worked there. They agree that the man who owns this company does not stand behind his work. To add insult to injury, he replied stating that he has 'no record' of my attempts. Wow... just wow."
