"Today I had one more terrible bodypump class with Gabriella Larizza. She replaces classes when the principal instructor is on vacations. Again she starts an exercise and screams on people to follow her instead of explaining next exercise 1-2 bits before. This time I asked her to be less emotional and she brought me outside the studio, explained me that she brings energy that way and suggested me to leave the class and don't visit her classes in the future. Alleluia, I didn't choose her class and will never visit her class by my choice. She was replacing the class and behaved rude and non-aceptable. I don't suggest choosing this club if you respect yourself and value positive attitude from people surround you."
"Staff is friendly, equipment is pretty much what you want or can expect. Space is good for downtown. My only complaint is the men's locker room. It's clean, it has the amenities, but it is so, so humid. Constantly humid. I understand there are showers in there, but there's zero ventilation. I can wait until I stop sweating, take a cold shower, and then still by the time I start trying to get dressed I'm re-drenched in sweat. It's miserable. Even a few fans in there would address the issue, and it's mind-blowing that they haven't taken even that minor step. I'd probably give the place 4 stars if it weren't for that experience, as right now I could never recommend this place to anyone who has to go to work or even get on the train after working out here. EDIT: I should point out that this is not limited to the Summer. In the Winter, the same thing happens, except then you have bundle your sweaty self into a winter coat, only to freeze as soon as you walk out the door."
"Today they are 0 stars. Trying to get to the gym for a while. Checked their Google business page today and said open to 9 as usual. Just thrown out at 7. Major inconvenience as going out and now must go home to shower, not to mention only half a workout. Bad enough they closed the club that is near my house as well as the one in the South End that had parking. Yes they had a small sign on the desk amongst everything else on the desk. They know no one stops at the desk and reads that stuff. You can do better. Update your Google page and put a pedestal sign x as you walk in that we can’t miss if you are going to change the norm. I know it wasn’t just me as there were 40 people caught off guard."
"Current condition of the club is terrible. There is no any air conditioning in the club during summer months. Today I visited the club for a group class. The last option to cool down was fan which was taken away from the studio due to big amount of complaints from the main gym hall. The today's instructor was replacing the other one. The instructor behaved unprofessionally like a random person from the street, she didn't explain exercises, she changed our position from standing to laying and back almost every time when we completed only 8 times of the exercise. Additionally. she creamed on us (for 5 guys). I left the class after 30 mins and her voice is still sitting in my head. Due to current condition I don't recommend to anyone visit this chain of New York (Boston) Sport Clubs."
"This gym was my favorite, I was the oldest member when they first open, and I have been holding their membership for almost 6 years, my payment was 19.99 a month plus the locker total 29.99 during the pandemic they didn’t frozen my membership and still charging while they close. After they reopen. My payment wasn’t the same anymore they started charge me for 59.99 and they started closing the gym early which it doesn’t fit my schedule and I had a shoulder injury so I decided to froze my membership. After few month I think my shoulder was doing fine, so I decided to work out, so I went back to the gym to work out one day to see how my should pain goes. But it didn’t went well, so I told the guy keep froze my membership. But today I find out they didn’t canceled my membership and still charging me for these month I didn’t go. And those new employees have attitude from the hell."
