"Such disappointing customer service. I was the only customer in the store and the staff on hand was clearly bothered by my questions. When asked if an item was being shown in a specific leather, the response was "what does the tag say?" Um ok. The rest of my questions were answered in the same manner. I wanted to make a 5000 dollar purchase right there in the store and I was so annoyed by the complete disinterest in helping a customer, that I left and ordered a similar item from Wayfair instead from the Pottery Barn parking lot."

"I'd give no stars if it were an option. Order was placed in December with a 12 week delivery timeframe. It has been 6 months and no one can give me an answer as to where my order is. Customer service is horrendous, some of the worst I've ever had to deal with. Would not recommend buying from PB. "It's at the distribution center". "I placed an order for furniture at the store in April. Part of the order was canceled. Reached out to the store for help and got no response or help. I was charged for a sectional in early May because it had been "delivered." But it is actually sitting in a warehouse in Boston. It took three phone calls to get a partial delivery set up rather than wait for the rest of the order which won't be ready until August. The delivery truck was running late, but they waited until 7 pm to say that it wasn't coming at all. They blamed it on the Department of Transportation hours of service. So, things happen, but just be polite and honest. The truck got a late start and ran behind. The DOT did not cause that. They're actually taking the furniture that didn't get delivered back and unloading it to be delivered another day. Seems like their delivery process and policies are inefficient. In the meantime, we moved out the old furniture to be ready for the delivery and really have no idea when or if they new furniture is going to show up."

"Do NOT BUY FROM POTTERY BARN. After waiting 6 months for a bed. The assembled parts were much bigger than described for a piece of the bed that I did not even really want. So instead of leaving the headboard of the bed I really wanted and loved they said the whole thing had to be returned. I waited 6 months and they would not let me keep the only part of the bed I wanted and paid for. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT BUY HERE You will regret it."

"I’ve been in the store browsing / shopping twice in two weeks. Not one sales associate or the store manager acknowledged me either time I was there. Nobody said hello as I walked through the store (there were at least 4 people on the sales floor), Nobody asked if I needed help finding something specific (which I DID need help), Even when I purchased an item, the person ringing me up barely spoke to me, other than telling me the total of my sale. Hey Pottery Barn, you’re competing with Crate and Barrel in the same plaza and losing! Train your staff to be friendly and helpful - and watch your sales grow exponentially !"
