"What I will say is that this organization really has taught people how to code and start their own personal projects that can lead into this difficult to break into industry. I learned so much in my time there.... But unfortunately that's all I can say. It has devolved from what it previously was and does not follow through totally with helping students to get a job unless it's really in their financial benefit. Students have found jobs outside their network which they Have connected with. They don't discourage it, but certainly they want to get paid to pick books from whoever they're talking to. Towards the end it also spiraled into vagueness, backtracking statements, and uncertainty in the summer of '22. I had a family medical emergency which took all my time and attention, and even though they promised they would keep in touch with me and help me however they could, but I was eventually completely ignored and eventually removed from all slack and group conversations related to the program. From what I can recall only 2 people out of the 16 that were in my class actually got a job. To my understanding, those I'm in touch with still are trying to get into the industry with no help from career devs. It's difficult for me to say many positive things about my year in the program due to the intense amount of work I put in with unfortunately little to no results. I'm grateful for what I learned but it is overshadowed by the aftermath. Treadlightly, as I believe they have been trying to rebrand as Dev connect. I do not totally fault the instructors, but do not lead people on as I + my class were."

"Before CareerDevs I was working at a tea place getting ready to look for jobs in my degree which is business management.
