"So where to begin? My family and I have used this firm for four separate transactions. The first transaction was a simple closing and went to plan. The second was the preparation of a Will which, I guess, you can’t really mess up. The third was another closing where there was little to no communication on the fees and what to expect. They prepare the documents and send along by email. No explanation of fees or payments. The fourth was a little more complex where the firm clearly has no experience in the process and procedures involved in this type of transaction. I won’t go into specific details as it would violate attorney-client-privilege. There was little to no communication throughout the process. If I recall correctly, there was an initial discussion before hiring the firm and then a fifteen minute “check in” on the fees they plan to charge you sometime along the way. They only communicate by email. I guess this is because they can have a legal message trail if you plan a recourse or whatnot. If you call and request a call back good luck. Jill Taintor is terrible with communications and can benefit from a course on how to effectively communicate with clients. I’d speculate the fourth transaction she was hired to perform was her first and she’s learning along the way whilst billing the client. Jenn Currie can also benefit from a course on personality. She seems to have some type to “chip” on her shoulder but can’t really place it. It’s a passive aggressive type personality. If you have a very simple transaction, and you don't mind, awful communication from counsel, this is the firm for you. They’re all about money. They don’t treat repeat clients with respect and appreciation and for this I am leaving this honest and candid review."
