"I regret to say that my experience in trying to contact the Canadian Consulate in Boston was very poor. I followed the instructions for those wanting to enter Canada, and became mired in a never-ending loop with no hope of reaching a person. I do understand that the border situation between Canada and the U.S. could change at any moment because of COVID-19, resulting in a higher number of calls than usual. If so, the voice messaging system should allow the caller to leave a message, or offer some other option than to just 'repeat the previous message'."
