"Definitely a mixed bag. Some teachers are excellent. However, there is clear tension between management and teachers, and both sides will openly blame each other when problems occur. Communication overall is very poor- no consistent system, lots of information falls through the cracks. Parents need to be vigilant. Supports for kids with IEPs/504s is not strong, and this has been noted by other sites such as Great Schools, and shows in student test scores. And yes, there is a definite bias towards LGTQ community, mostly in the form of microaggressions and entrenched institutional marginalization and complete lack of acknowledgment. Principal is fairly new (his third year), and hopefully tensions will improve as will consistency. Nice guy overall. But definitely a rocky road."

"It's good, BUT the orchestra teacher is a jerk. He will tell your kid they aren't good and that they don't practice, even when they do.He told they whole class Santa wasn't real ( some kids still believed.) If you want a school for a kid who plays a string instrument, this is NOT the school. Sorry! But overall it's a great school with lots of love. (Side note: He wont let a girl quit till 9th grade and won't accept her notes to quit. RUDE! At least that's what i heard.)"

"Dear People Of The Internet, Goff Middle School is a great place to send your kids. There is some discrimination of Gay and Trans children, but other than that the teachers are wonderful, all the students keep an open mind and the after school activities are wonderful. The school isnt all fun and dandy, but most things are great!"
