"Myself and my girlfriend went for dinner after checking in, we waited at the hostess’s station for at least 5 minutes before the lady came out from the back, the dining room was about 55% full, and the bar had about 7 people at it… The server came over after about 10 minutes and got our order, and she did get it a little wrong…. My girl got the burger and fries and I got a steak tip dinner for $28 bucks…. First thing I said was: “I want a side of fries, then I’ll have the steak tip dinner…. Medium please and thank you….. after a while of waiting… she had returned with the order and instead of mashed potatoes she must have told them fries with it. I didn’t say anything because I ain’t having the cook do anything funny to my food. It’s just common sense, I first ordered the fries, then the steak dinner without any substitutions. In my opinion the steak wasn’t that good and over cooked also wasn’t worth $28 dollars. Next time we will cook in our room."

"This 5 star review is for our server Amanda! Food was good for the price, fresh and tasteful. But our server is the one who deserves the praise. She was the only server handling all the tables (place was pretty full) she was busy to say the least, but she managed to handle what should’ve have been the job of 3-4 people all by herself. She did so with such grace and kindness, I really hope she gets the appreciation that she deserves. (Full disclaimer: we didn’t ask for her name but the check said Amanda, so I hope that’s her name) We visited 11/10 5.15pm-7pm"

"The hotel had a Dinner option available a few nights during the week. While we were there they were serving buffets and there was no menu otherwise. One night it was Italian and the other American Continental. A little pricey at $24 per person. They had about 10 items for dinner and dessert. Food was average. We would probably go to a restaurant instead next time, just finding open non chain restaurants on certain days of the week in the area can be hard."

"Excellent food. Nice ambiance. Our entertaining bartender for the evening Patrick Kennedy recommended the fresh seafood chowder to start. It was loaded and delicious. We followed that up with a perfectly cooked medium rare burger, also delicious. And some pizza. Pizza was good, but nothing I would go out of my way for. The only thing I was disappointed in was the limited Tap selection. I enjoyed a Fiddlehead IPA, and they also offered Tuckerman's Pale Ale, Harpoon IPA, and few more beers which seems more profit oriented than palate oriented."
