"My daughter has been attending Bright Horizons at Newburyport since she was just 3 months old. As a first-time mother I was terrified to leave her with people I did not know, but from the moment we walked in the door on the first day, it was like seeing an old friend. The entire staff is wonderful. My daughter is not just a number or kid in the class, she is known as an individual and by her name! In the four short months she has been attending, she has learned and grown so much. Everyday she is up to something new and exciting. I love receiving photos and updates about her day and seeing all that she does. An explanation is provided regarding how each activity helps her develop. It is amazing to see the time and thought that is put into a curriculum for even babies. Everyone there really cares for her not just because it’s their job, because they love what they do. I would highly recommend Bright Horizons at Newburyport to anyone looking for childcare."

"My child was attending another daycare for a little over 1,5 years I was very unhappy with it and started to notice some different behavior - low sleep quality, anxiety and very hard drop offs. Even being a little concerned about adaptation I decided to move him to Bright Horizons. From day one I could tell the difference, the facility, the quality of toys and the super fun outdoors. Talking about the administration Staff and teachers is another special chapter. The level of training is noticeable - the positive reinforcement resulted in a happier kid! "I have worked for preschools my entire working career. I have worked for private and corporate preschools. All had great points and some could use improvements in certain areas. Bright Horizons is among the best of the best that I have had the pleasure to work for. Teaching and caring and nurturing littles has always been a part of my being. I will almost always put their needs even before my own. (As a lot of preschool teachers do). That being said, Bright Horizons does an exceptionally amazing job putting my needs as a teacher and an employee at the same level as the parents and the children. The administration is constantly checking in to see how we are we are doing and to help accommodate our needs even if it means THEY step into the classroom to teach. The school will pay for any classroom supplies needed and will always provide what they can. The pay and benefits is beyond what I have ever expected. I can honestly say, here is where I plan on retiring. (Although that might be when I’m 80.)."

"We have been part of the Bright Horizons family since our oldest child was 4 months old - he is now 4. We have nothing but excellent things to say about the Newburyport center, where we have spend the past 1.5 years. Our second is now starting in infants and even though we have been through everything already with our first, the care, attentiveness, compassion and engagement from the teachers and staff the second time around is as if we were going through this the first time - which is a huge sign of relief. The infant teachers help with keeping up with milestones, engagement with other children and have a genuine interest and love for our child and family. Our eldest spent time in preschool and kindergarten and the teachers are nothing but exceptional. The curriculum is engaging, challenging and fun all at the same time. We have seen so much progress with writing, letters, numbers and a love of learning and explorations that makes us proud to be members of the Bright Horizons family.
