Gentle Dental - South Portland

"I had the worst experience here. They are Unbelievably incompetent what a waste of our time. We were new patients my husband and myself . Not one of their staffs let us know if they received our records from the last office to confirm. We went back sat in the chair with the dental hygienist to start X-rays . When I had to stop her and say didn’t you get my X-rays. She then had to bring us back to the front. Girl at front was extremely rude tried to turn it around on us rudely in front of the office saying do you want to reschedule and we stated no we had to get the records first before we pick another day. They replied were not letting you guys come together again, we stated why because we lost 2 hours. They didn’t know this but we had overheard them say another person had called to cancel a 4pm appointment. That they weren’t happy about were talking very poorly about. Yes you lost 2 hours due to your own negligence and not doing your due diligence as workers. Don’t try to turn your incompetence around on new patients to your practice. Then blame it on a new system. All the office staff was sitting in the front gossiping about patients and laughing don’t you know your not suppose to do that. Have some professionalism I definitely won’t come here their staff is rude, incompetent. They can’t do basic task in the front or the bare minimum.I defiantly wouldn’t trust them with my mouth. Worst dental practice I have seen, we will take our oral business elsewhere."

"Had a medical emergency last week, and they put me in right away for check up and eval. They were very thorough. And although treatment was done by another clinic due to the condition of my tooth needing root canal, I still appreciate the kindness of their staff in checking what was really going on and referring me for the correct treatment. I will be going back to them for the crown after my root canal and hope to get the same awesome experience and treatment."

"Broke a tooth and Gentle Dental was able to get me in for an evaluation, as the Dental chain that accepts my discount plan couldn't get me in for 2 months. The staff was amazing. They assessed the damage and I was impressed with the entire operation and also the amount of information and options they discussed with me. I like this place so much, I'm going to try to find a way for them to do the repair work. Even if I have to pay the whole thing out of pocket. I really feel confident that they are the best people for the job."

"Kaitlyn and Dr. Min we're absolutely wonderful, took care of my dental emergency. Everyone in the office was so welcoming. They were super busy but were able to take care of me the very next day. I have been there in the past, and will continue using Gentle Dental and won't hesitate to refer them!!"

"This is a review about my cumulative experience, I’ve been gong to gentle dental since I moved to Portland 5 years ago. I’ve been recommending this office to anyone I hear is looking for a dentist. All of my experiences have been positive. The receptionists are friendly, warm, easy going and accommodating. In particular when I had a visit today and was in a rush, they went out of their way to accommodate me. They were extremely kind about it. The hygienist that worked with me today, who I’ve had before, is kind and knowledgeable. I feel relaxed in the chair and the cleaning is thorough but extremely comfortable. The dentist is good too, they’re informative and cautious but I never feel they’re pushing work on me. I really can’t say enough. I left there today hoping that the staff at this office receive the accolades they deserve, they really do a great job! I highly recommend."
