"Our daughter has gone to SCMS for 2 years. She has grown so much under their care! SCMS teaches much more an academics. They encourage practical life skills, as well as hands on learning that teachers skillful set up to allow children’s to learn from their environment. The staff is warm and friendly... I feel like they have become a part of our family. All the teachers are amazing! Throughout COVID they provided students with a safe space to learn and still have a ton of fun! We are so happy with our choice to send our daughter to SCMS! She has a wonderful foundation that we know will benefit her throughout her life!"

"Both of my children went to South County Montessori for many years and it had such a critical influence on my children's social, emotional and intellectual development. The teachers, many who have been teaching at this school for decades, are amazing! They provide the structure and nurturing environment that is needed and they always go out of their way to make sure that your needs are being met. My children were always so happy to go to school that when I came to pick them up, they never wanted to leave. They provide enough time for children just to be playing outside in nature, exploring the world while teaching children how to be autonomous, respectful and curious. Our time at SCMS was truly special, we felt part of a community with wonderful director, staff and parents. "The moment I stepped into SCMS, I knew this would be the extended home for my children. The classrooms are welcoming, cozy, and full of sensory play, diverse literature, and engaging math and science areas. The outdoor playground is beautiful and something the children enjoy using several times throughout the day. I cannot say enough amazing things about SCMS's director, Jen, and the teachers.
