"I was in Rockport on 9/3/2023 and saw Artesano's which I knew I would love just seeing there display outside the store I went in and sure enough I loved it!! I came across a shirt I had to have and when I got to the register the gentleman told me I had to pay cash because his system was not working because it was so busy and it went down I couldn't believe it because I had just purchased items in other stores with my credit card . . I asked him where I could find an ATM and we would have to drive to get there....so my husband and I sat on a bench to see if we could come up with the cash we did with a dollar to spare!! When I went back in to pay cash for my purchase I noticed quite a few people in the store with clothes I assumed they were going to purchase and I asked the gentleman at the counter if he thought he should advise them that the credit card machine wasn't working so they didn't get disappointed like I did but he didn't seem to care. Nowadays people don't seem to carry cash so I was taken aback by his attitude and not being proactive in advising people of the situation!!! HOW RUDE!!! Candy Mcdonald"
