"From the moment we stepped in, we knew we wanted to send our then 6 month old to daycare with Monique! Monique is attentive, caring, and receptive to how we prefer to do things at home. The fresh and home-cooked food is a huge plus. Monique and Howie have both expressed genuine interest in us as parents and we are beyond grateful to have found them. Our daughter always comes back at the end of the day in a good mood and cheerful."

"My wife and I could not be happier with the outstanding care that Monique and Howie provide at One Childhood Early Learning & Care. Our two-year-old daughter wakes up every day asking if she can go play at Monique's house. We really appreciate the open concept and independent learning that's encouraged at One Childhood- plus the outdoor space (including hobbit hole! and water tables) is hard to beat. The hours are great (7:30-5:30) and Monique and Howie are super flexible. Did I mention they have a chameleon the kids love? Monique and Howie also run a myriad of cultural activities for every holiday ranging from Christmas to Day of the Dead and Dwali. I'd be remiss if I didn't comment on the FOOD- it's unbelievable. I review the menus daily and while it all sounds good on paper, it looks and smells AMAZING! If you're considering sending your child here, I'd encourage you to pull the trigger- you won't regret it!"

"My son has been going to One Childhood ELC for a little over a year now. He has done so well here I am afraid of how he will react when he goes to preschool! He took to Monique and Howie right away. When he first started going here he was still in diapers and when we were ready to potty train Monique was right on board and we were in undies in no time! I love that all of the meals are freshly prepared, lots of fruits and veggies. When my first started he was a picky 2 year old with limited foods he would eat. Once I changed up the meal time routine at home Monique followed suit at school and now he eats so many foods and things he would never touch before. I love that she sends pictures and daily/weekly updates on how he is doing. They do lots of outdoor play and do awesome field trips like the museum of science and even the beach! I plan to have my son here until he transitions to either preschool or kindergarten. "We are so grateful that our son is at One Childhood Early Learning & Care. I cannot say enough about the education, care, socialization and LOVE that he gets there. For the last 2.5 years I have been continuously amazed at how well supported he has been during his time at One Childhood. The attention to his own interests, abilities and needs is superb and I truly feel that he is getting the best care we could possibly ask for. We go to work knowing that he will be safe, happy and will come home having had a great day with his friends. Monique and Howie take care to make learning a special and fun experience for all of the kids there and he enjoys the activities so much while at the same time gaining skills and knowledge. In addition to the care they provide for the children at One Childhood they are wonderfully communicative, flexible and understanding with the parents as well which is always appreciated. Choosing One Childhood for our son's daycare and preschool has been a wonderful experience for all of us!"

"This daycare has been everything we could have asked for. We moved from NYC early 2016 with our 14 month old. We loved our daycare then and they loved our son like he was their own. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to find that same type of relationship when we moved. Monique and Howie have been that and more at One Childhood (then called Pleasant Place). They care for my two boys like they are their own kids. They feed them home-cooked meals and snacks all day (my boys are bottomless pits!); they do science experiments and sensory activities and in the summer, the boys come home pooped from a day playing outside. Their backyard is fully dedicated to the kids with different areas to play in and a vegetable garden for the kids to learn all about gardening. They've dedicated the first floor of their home to the daycare and Monique has decorated it beautifully with so many fun things for kids to do. Big fish tank, tons of instruments, wall of books, etc. Monique is extremely creative with her lesson plans and my kids just absolutely adore the both of them. Truthfully, I wish I could just hang out there to play with my kids instead of going to work lol. I really couldn't be any luckier to have found them. And any review I write wouldn't express how much love I have for them and the caring and love they give my kids."
