"Richie and Justin have always taken good care of me, and I historically have car troubles (driving for ten years, parents visiting here before me). They are honest and will not do something without consulting you first, and they will tell you if they think something is worth doing or not. They've even helped in finding my new car, which I'm still driving years later (and hope for many more). They even help with silly things, like my new car had automatic lights and I did not realise this, so I brought it in fearing the battery would die and they simply showed me how to change the setting. If you're a local or new to the area and need a trustworthy mechanic, please consider Frank's Gulf because I don't think you'll be disappointed. I'm a life long customer for sure."

"Honest guys honest work pretty good prices they helped me out a bunch of times when I needed it .. people are saying be prepared to leave your car there ... Well ya that's the point.. you can't work mericals in 20min esp when you are as busy as them ... Also a 1 star review saying it's a pizza shop brings down the rating of this .. guys are honest and tell you as is. I'll come back"

"Frank's Gulf is not a pizza shop, I have no idea what that reviewer was talking about. They do however hold a car dealer's license, and sell cars then skimp on repairs when something breaks. I bought a Ford Explorer from them, the starter motor quit on the way home. John who owns the building did come to give me a ride home, and he told me they'd fix the starter motor. After Triple A tow number 2 I decided to fix it myself. They took out the starter and fixed the brushes only; when I even offered to pay for a starter. It quit a second time two days after they "repaired" it. They might have saved $40 at the most by only repairing the brushes which I gladly would have given them to fix it right. Don't buy a vehicle from them until you hear it start cold. They warm them up to cover up engine noises."

"I work around the corner & have been dropping off my cars here for 10 years. Guy does great work, with fair prices. Never does unnecessary work & even will give a discount if he feels bad for auto parts being extra expensive in the case of my honda brakes. Fair prices so Id rather have my oil change by a pro than the quick oil places."
