"I came to this Jiffy Lube last week for a routine oil change. They told me that I urgently needed a new alternator and as someone who doesn’t know cars very well, I usually hesitate to do things on the spot, but they were insistent. They then told me that they had to replace the battery as my battery voltage was too low and that was the perceived problem. They replaced both for over $1200 and I picked up the car and the issue wasn’t fixed. While still there, they then told me I would have to bring it to the dealership to get it looked at, but I still paid and the problem wasn’t solved. Seems like I didn’t need the parts in the first place. Happy with the oil change services and the team is professional and kind, but feels like I didn’t have to pay that kind of money for the problem not to be fixed."
