"I give Copart 1 star only because 0 stars wasn't an option. They purchased my car 2 weeks ago and will not give a reasonable timeframe for pickup (within 48 hours) so I wasn't home. They tell you to leave the signed title and the keys in the car and they will leave the check in the mailbox. The check was made out to the wrong name so I was not able to deposit it. When I called to let them know about the error they said I could drive over an hour to exchange the check for one made out correctly. I refused so they said they would send me an overnight mailer to return the worthless check (they wouldn't simply put a stop payment on the check and overnight a new one to correct their error). They did not send the overnight mailer so I waited around all day for nothing. I called and left a message and no one called me back so I called again the next morning. Again I was told that they wouldn't deliver a good check and they needed the worthless one back so again I could wait for the mailer to send the check back. I insisted that they simply send someone out to swap the checks and they completely refused to fix their mistake. I feel as though I may have no other choice than to report my car stolen and sue Copart since they have taken my car and the title and have refused to pay for it. Do not sell your car to this company, you will be ripped off. You're better off selling it for less to a junk yard. At least then you will get something for it."
