"Stopped in right when he opened to see if he could help and assess some extreme rattling underneath my vehicle that I was concerned with which might lead to the exhaust falling off. jim or whoever was behind the counter immediately got Hornery with me and complained he was by himself and 2 weeks out on repair. 2 weeks???? Sounds a bit ridiculous. May I suggest that he either hire more staff, lose the attitude or just shut the business down and go fishing. Sunoco in kennebunkport had me up on the lift and problem rectified in 30 minutes so I could make my 4 hour ride back home. Jim should think twice before being rude to visitors otherwise he ends up with reviews like this."

"I am so fortunate to have Carl, at Jim's Service, as my mechanic. Every single time I have had my car serviced by Carl, he has done a great job at a reasonable price. He is honest, trustworthy and kind. He deserves all of the praise!!!"

"Being an older gal and knowing NOTHING about automobiles I find some of these reviews unbelievable. The tourist who complained that Carl never took his face away from the auto he was working on should put his complaint in proper context. Naturally, Carl must service his local customers prior to a walk in. After all ...Jim's is a small LOCAL company and in order to survive especially when busy, his repeat customers are entitled to be taken care of first! I suspect in these 2 negative reviews there is MORE to the story. Personally I treasure the honesty and kindness shown to me whenever I need Carl's service. I have lived in Kennebunk for 45 years & am thankful for finding Carl during 20 of those 45 years. HONEST, FAIR pricing & KIND. You cannot ask for more."

"I had a tail light go out while I was on vacation. Every shop I called was not able to take me in. I called Jim's Service Center in the morning and they were able to get me in by noon. They took the tail light off and examined it, determining that it was just a fuse. They had my light back on and working in no time and when I asked how much I owed they said $2. I wish I could have tipped more than I did but I gave him all the money that I had in my wallet at the time. The gentleman I dealt with was incredibly friendly, very professional, and an all around good person. I would recommend this shop to anyone."
