"The whole dinner experience was spot on. The service was attentive but not pushy. Of course the food was very good and full sized plate. No "thin" cocktails either. Finished with a sumptuous dessert. Don't forget to make a reservation."

"My husband and I have been to MK Kitchen a few times, and it seems to get better each time. Of course with several trips you find what your preferences are, and we have found that we truly enjoy sitting at the bar where it feels very cozy, and is a bit quieter than the dining room. Highly recommend the cheese fondue! I can also tell you they prepare everything fresh because if you are sitting at the bar you can see the kitchen, which I think somehow makes it more intimate. We have always had great waiters/waitresses but last night we had Emily and she was spectacular. She was so good about making sure we had what we needed without making us feel like we needed to rush. She made us feel very welcome, and was a big reason date night was such a success. Thank you Emily!"

"I visited with a group of my girlfriends and we all enjoyed our meals. It's really nice that they have smaller portions so you don't feel too full having an appetizer or dessert as well. The menu is extensive without being overwhelming."

"Have dined here many times casually and for birthdays, and MK Kitchen never disappoints. The pomegranate martini is very good. I almost always get the mussels, as the broth is buttery delicious and comes with dipping bread. I usually can't say that a salad is tremendous or memorable when I go out to eat, but they take that next step of making their own caesar dressing and it makes a huge difference. Highly recommend the short ribs entree - it is melt in your mouth yummy! You really can't go wrong with the food. Ambience is wonderful - there's nice low lighting, it's spacious and it's clean. Will continue coming back and recommending to friends."

"This was an exceptional dining experience! After having dined in a downtown Portland (difficult to get a reservation) competitor, MK came out as the clear winner. Every course was outstanding. That said, the complimentary bread they serve does not meet their otherwise impressive standard. Would return and highly recommend!!!!"
