"I've always been a fan of Hannafords Supermarket!! I really like the stores design & layout,... It's very easy to get around and find everything on your list. They're pricing is comparable to the other chain stores. There staff is usually always pleasant & more than eager to help you."

"I'm not terribly disappointed in my overall experience here. In fact I shop at Hannaford more than any other grocer in Maine due to "convenience". My 3 stars is a result of watching all the basic ingredient foods I've enjoyed disappear over the last year or so. Also, the disappearance of the non added sugar products I've enjoyed. Almost every item in this store contains added sugar. Some of the items that contain sugar dont even make sense. Such a disappointment that such an addictive substance is so readily available in almost every product. I know this isn't some small boutique natural food store. So I get that most of the products are over processed chemical rich. Also, I don't mean the over priced organic items they carry. I Just mean basic ingredient foods. There is almost an entire aisle dedicated to candy, sugar syrup based drinks and dog food. Yet the store dedicates a tiny fraction of its space to basic ingredient non added sugar products. But that's how this whole food industry runs anymore I suppose."

"This is usually our go to grocery store but recently we had to order a custom cupcake cake and we decided to order from here. I called three days in advance and they said no problem, only need 24 hours. I was a bit hesitant but Taylor (I believe that was her name) did a beautiful job! I just requested roses on 30 cupcakes in a certain color scheme and to be seamless. Everyone at the event absolutely loved them and gushed over how gorgeous it was!"

"Like with any hannaford, they are expensive. I found the produce department severely lacking. Only seemed to have the basics. If you want anything like asparagus, you have to get organic which is 4.99! Nope! Regular beefsteak type tomatoes were totally green so that left you with the tiny cluster type or with a Roma type, which are tasty but not what I want. Store is clean and tidy and they seemed to have all my favorite brands. Manager my husband spoke with was nice and very helpful. Meat is good and selection of wine and liquor was adequate. Employees nice."

"I like going to Hannaford because I know my way around and the food there is pretty much what I need. Also my town only has Hannaford and shop and save. They seem like the same place to me. Is a good bunch of people working here. If I'm being honest, I don't think anybody has ever actually cared that I found everything I was looking for, although they ask. If you tell him you were looking for something they just kind of look off into space and have that sad, tired look sometimes. Maybe back when they first opened."
