"I live in providence and purposely do to this location because its usually way less crowded in the Rhode Island area, and tends to have way more options. I typically go with my two toddlers and never have any issues. However, the last time I went with my toddlers my toddler accidentally vomited on one of the items and the staff had look of distain which made me feel terrible. I told them I will pick it up no problem, but they ignored me and started cleaning it. disappointing"

"Quite a nice Marshalls, although the checkout line was brutal (admittedly, it's mid-December, so to be expected), plenty of stock, and a wide selection of the interesting items that Marshalls are renowned for. Definitely worth a look."

"Terrible experience. Tried to return something and didn’t have my receipt however the return policy said they’d be able to refund me with store credit. But when I got there they wouldn’t refund me (although the product I bought had the Marshalls sticker on it) because it was “scratched”. Rude manager and overall bad bad experience."

"Extremely unprofessional. Gabby which is the manager handled a situation poorly. My daughter brought in perfume that I purchased 1 day ago, I did not like the scent so I had her return it. The young girl Vanessa at the cash resister called the girls over and said, “would you be mad if you got this.” She was insinuating that the perfume was used and returned. Then proceed to ask my daughter, “where did you buy this?” She literally had the receipt and it shows it. Then they felt foolish when they realized it was a recent purchase. Gabby said they had to make sure that someone else didn’t purchase it and returning it. It had the original packaging plastic and all! Makes no sense! Confirm the receipt that you had, it is not that hard. This was definitely accusatory behavior and they should be ashamed. I would understand if she didn’t have the receipt. Do better with your training standards Marshalls. Update: I called this morning and spoke to AnnMarie who is the store manager and she was kind and explained how things should be handled. She reassured me that her associates will be addressed and the behavior will not be tolerated. I appreciated her time and her professionalism."
