"Staff at Hometown Fuel are always very pleasant and why I even give 3 stars. Beyond that they are difficult to contact. The only way to make a payment is via phone or mailing a check because they do not have a website to make payments online. This would be fine if they answered the phone during business hours. It’s more of a miss than a hit trying to call them during their listed business hours, as they apparently don’t have someone full time to answer phones. We have also experienced them forgetting to deliver our fuel when we were about to run out, which is frustrating. As nice as they are, we switched to another deliverer because they just aren’t consistent in terms of being able to get in contact to either arrange a delivery or make a payment if you’re like us and don’t keep checks on hand any longer since just about every business takes online payments these days or has hours to pay consistently via phone."

"Ordered fuel. They would not deliver because of the driveway. I told them I was going to call Daigle oil and they could have cared less. I Called Daigle oil. They had no issue. Always getting answer machine no matter what time of day or day of the week.."
"I get my pellets and home fuel at here. The people there are always friendly, both on the phone and in person. 8 years ago I used to get my service from Dead River, until my second phone call with them... Dead River acted like my business with them inconvenienced them. I hung up the phone and called Hometown. I've been with them since. Edit: I now buy home fuel from Home Town Fuel"
