"I decided to stop here for a quick bite. Usually I come here all the time never had a problem everyone is always kind and inviting. Today I stopped and picked up a few things macaroni and cheese, bbq pork and the baked scrod from the hot bar. Took a couple of bites of the baked scrod instantly tasted ammonia in my mouth and felt it in my nose. Tried it a second time to confirm I tasted what I tasted and sure enough tasted it again. I decided to call the store and spoke to the manager who just told me to bring it back and I’d get my money back. He said it very condescending I might add. But that was not my main concerned. My main concern was other people getting sick from eating old fish. I was kind of baffled myself because the manager didn’t seem concerned about it at all. He seemed annoyed that I had called at all. This will probably be my last time at Tom’s both due to the food being tainted and the customer service I received from the manager. I didn’t even want my money back. I was concerned for other people who might eat it. For the manager to speak to me the way he did and not even acknowledging the concern for others it’s enough to make me not want to come back."
