"Perplexing place to rate. Played an early December round here as it was the only place left with available tee times. Easy to see why once you step onto the course. Conditions of the course get a 1/10, easily the worst conditioned course you will be able to find that is still operational. Almost seems like they fired the guy in charge of the conditions a few years ago and just never replaced him. The "starter" or "ranger" or whatever you want to call him looked like he was pulled out of a halfway house, the carts appeared like they have probably not been cleaned in a few years, they do have GPS which was strange but our carts' was broken, looks like someone whacked it with a golf club. The other cart in our group had a GPS that worked but the yardages were wrong so it was essentially operational to only keep him on the cart path. This was the last course you would ever expect cart path only, absolute dumpster fire. Greens were so bumpy and disease ridden we instituted a max 3 putt, landing on the other side of the green from the pin was a death sentence, a full putter swing couldn't get you across any of the greens. Cost was roughly $60 for December, which is fairly standard in New England but this course should be $20. OK now the positives. Plentiful tee times because its so bad! Girl working inside was really nice and kind of funny. I asked if we could start on the back 9 instead of the front since there was a small child going out in the group in front of us and she said "I don't care what you do!" The aforementioned "starter" hadn't shown up yet, it was pretty early (9:45). Food was actually really good, highly recommend the pizza. Bunkers were actually soft, not sure why because there was not a rake in sight and they hadn't been manicured in years. Tough to recommend this course over literally any other course that has available times but as a worst case scenario and a spot to grab some post round food, it's not horrible."
"I just played here, this place was in rough shape. I am not sure if it is because of the time of season or if it is always like this. The fairways were overgrown and the greens were mostly sand and dirt, the grass hasn't been cared for. I could have looked past that, but the fees were way too high for the state of the course. I think I will check out some of the other local places next time I golf. (The lady working in the club house was very friendly and helpful!)."
"Played here on Thursday September 7th 2023. Have not played there in a very long time, I remember a nice course. Not anymore! The course has not seen any fertilizer or weed control in years, the greens were awful and disease filled. Fairways and tee boxes were crabgrass, clover and whatever other weeds available! $62.00 greens fee is definitely high for this run down field of weeds. One good thing was the draft beer at the bar was only $3.75"
"I played this course during the off-season and decided to try again thinking it'd be better. Negative just as bad if not worse now. Crabgrass growing through the greens, fairyways are in rough shape. One hole had the irrigation going. The carts never work properly with the GPS and they pulsate every time you go up a hill. Ended up leaving the cart at the 18th because the cart couldnt make it up the hill. Save your money and time."
"Just played here for the first time and it will be my last $80 for fees + cart. 90° cart requirements, awful cart paths, poor layout. Greens were complete garbage. No trash cans anywhere. Only good thing was the beverage cart girl was super attentive because there was literally no one out there. She gets the star! Here’s a thought. Instead of investing in GPS powered carts that don’t work, why don’t you work on the condition of your course instead?"
