"NOT recommended IF you are over age 60. Up to recently it's been good. It's where I go for Covid-19 vacs and the person is very good. However, recently I was treated with ageism. "You don't need those," were her exact words. Apparently, Hannafords Pharmacist (this one) knows more than my doctor. I don't need to be paternalistically lectured. I took the script and the next pharmacy I went to filled it. Unbelievably rude, and worse, after a complaint to Hanneford's corporate site: zero response. The short take: Ageism. If I had been younger, she would not have done what she did."
"Having been their customer for 30 years, the last three months have been insane. They have messed up almost every prescription and I worry if they are even prescribing correctly anymore. The new person making decisions outside my doctor! They are dangerous at this point. Certainly very expensive with all the trips back and forth to pick up corrected prescriptions. I have never seen anything like this."
"I have 3 prescriptions, 2 of which are cheap, and the other costs a bit. When the expensive one went up in price, I shopped around. Hannaford was cheaper on all 3, and half the price on the expensive one. Switched all to Hannaford, and saving $300 a year."
