Nonna Maria's Italian Kitchen

"I can't say enough good things about this place. Chef Jerry and his team work together seamlessly to create delicious and creative Italian dishes that cannot be matched anywhere else! The biggest "problem" with Nonnas is that the dining room is small and the handful of tables are packed in pretty tight. You'd better call ahead (at least a week in advance) if you plan on eating here during prime times. The kitchen does however offer take-out, which is usually the best option on a busy night. Again, the key is to plan ahead! The food is so good that this place doesn't really have a slow time. They have a great wine list to choose from, huge portions for appetizers, and exciting entree specials. Every time I think I know what I want from the menu when I go there, I usually end up changing my mind and going with one of the specials. Chef Jerry is old school and still does all the shopping himself with fresh and local ingredients. All of the seafood is brought in fresh regularly, and his pasta sauces are truly legit. My last meal of his red sauce over linguini with seared Nantucket scallops and a NY strip was some of the best food that I have ever had. It was seasoned so perfectly that I never even thought to reach for the salt and pepper! As of now, the business is up for sale as the owner is looking to retire. I plan on visiting this gem as many times as possible until that happens."

"Chicken Parmigiano was perfect. Crispy chicken, delicious sauce and enough cheese. The side of penne was a bit overcooked but still tasted great. A side salad came with the meal and the house dressing I chose was great. Highly recommend reservations as there are only 11 tables inside."

"This is the hidden gem of Italian food in Saratoga County. It's hidden in a small strip mall on Rt. 9 in Clifton Park. The staff is gracious and knowledgeable, the decor is simple yet has a classic Italian feeling and the food is delicious! I travel to this area several times a year, and this is my new go-tov when I'm in town and for locals, this will quickly become your new favorite Italian restaurant"

"I took my wife here for her birthday dinner, it's where she wanted to go!! I gotta see they exceeded both of our expectations!! The food was simply amazing, old school Italian & the portions are HUGE!! I'll just expect to take leftovers home & enjoy the food on the revisit, we definitely did!! The service was also top notch, our server was super friendly & very attentive!! If u love Italian food, run don't walk here!!"
