"We parked our car at the parking garage right across from the visitor center which made a great base while exploring Salem all day! The visitor center is a great spot to freshen up- they offer bathrooms, maps to grab, water bottle re fill station & outdoor benches to relax on. The inside had a nice gift shop & some historical things to read / check out!"

"I didn't find the employees to be very helpful or knowledgeable. We had questions about the trolley (which stops right in front of the visitor center) and were told we would have to go to the trolley office for information. We found some brochures, purchased water, and used their restrooms (which were clean). But as far as getting information, we didn't find it a helpful place."
