"I’ve been seeing Ron to groom my small pup for a little while now, this was my fourth time. I asked for a trim, since we’re traveling for Christmas and I wanted to minimize shedding… which I regret. I came back in to find a frantic dog (she does tend to be anxious as small dogs are) and Ron said something happened and showed me a horrifying area around one side under her hip. I was told that she jumped during the trim and she was cut. The whole area was dark and bloody and I soon realized he had used styptic powder to try and stop the bleeding instead of cleaning and treating the cuts. He even applied even more before I left. I was just in shock and I didn’t know what was happening and paid and took my dog home. The treatment was so dark and hardened I really had no idea how bad the injury was. A couple days later, my dog is still being very light on this leg and licked off the powder stuff and I finally realized how bad the cuts really were. I’m very upset and just feel terrible for her, it’s 4 days later and she still has a long way to heal. I called Ron to ask for my money back. After a little bit of a yelling match, and being told repeatedly that my dog jumped, it was an accident, that he wants me to be clear it wasn’t his fault, he agreed to give my money back. I just still can’t believe with this kind of wound I was still charged to begin with and asked if I wanted to reschedule. Omfg. Just shocked that this wasn’t more professionally addressed or there wasn’t a follow-up call. I honestly has no idea how bad it was until the powder was off. The first photos are the site 3 days later, you can still see some of the syptic powder stain. The last 2 photos are what it was like the first day. AVOID UPDATE 1 month later: I took my dog to the vet after Christmas. They said she absolutely needed stitches. They gave me a gel that was very effective and she is just about healed at this point."

"My pup went a long while without a good groom after a hospitalization caused him to miss his last grooming and Happy Paws was able to fit us in so quickly and gave us exactly what we were looking for! To top it off, they gave him the cutest little bowtie! Definitely happy with the visit and services."

"DON’T EVER BRING YOUR PET TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!! I brought my 8 weeks kitten for a bath and nails ONLY . I told him that i don’t want any cut to my kitten because she’s just a baby and when i picked her up i realized he cut her ears hair and my kitten nails was bleeding a lot because he cuts more than he supposed to cut .. the place is really dirty! PLEASE DON’T BRING YOUR PET OR YOU GONNA REGRET IT ."

"This groomer/sitter cannot be trusted with your pet. My dog was in his care for two weeks, and she grew ill/couldn't walk within the first week. He decided on his own that he wouldn't reach out to the family or vet upon realizing she was hurting; therefore, my dog ultimately suffered for over a week while in his care. After picking her up and rushing her to the emergency room, within 24 hours she was later euthanized. He does not see any fault in his actions, and doesn't comprehend how he has traumatized an entire family. Protect your pup and yourself from monsters like this. He should NEVER be allowed to care for animals. He has a dying business ahead of him. Specifics: My dog lost her ability to use her hind legs, was not regularly eating, and strained/did not urinate or defecate without support towards the end of her last few days. He did not find it necessary to get her help."

"I’m horrified at the experience I had at this groomer my puppy had longer patches of hair and not groomed the way I wanted him to be. Pictured are before and after! They still charged full price for this botched job I will not be returning."
