Hagan's Grill

"We went here for dinner on New Year's Eve. On our way to our reservation, which we had made over a month ago, we got a call. It's the host of the restaurant asking my wife if she knew how long we might be so she could squeeze someone in after us who was trying to get in at the last minute. When we told our waitress this, she was mortified. She responded, "how rude." No manager ever came by and asked us how our meal was, or asked about our ridiculous call that evening. Don't waste your time here, especially for the money. Zero personality from all staff with the exception of our waitress who had at least 10 plus tables, running around like crazy. So I can appreciate most of your answers but not the cover up about the call we got from the hostess. It wasn't a confirmation call as you stated we received, it was a call asking us how long it would take us. Maybe you didn't understand the way I explained it last time. If that's your procedure then you may want to look for a different approach, because that was flat out rude of her. Trust me your staff watched us walk out and not a word from anyone. I would never go back, thanks for the invite though."

"After passing Hagan’s Grill several times and commenting we have to stop there we finally did. Our waitress Jen was amazing. The bar was full & had a cozy atmosphere. We chose to eat in the dining room. She guided us through some specials and suggestions and was attentive throughout the meal. The hot Brie app was wonderful. My husband had 2 seafood apps and I had the pork chops..which was beautifully done with cooked apples. The PC was so thick I brought it home for leftovers. We tried to split a dessert which was wonderful..but were too full. We enjoyed our experience and it’s on our list to go back to! Kudos. Art&Reba"

"My husband and I found this place by searching for places to eat while on vacation, and I am so thrilled we did. This was some of the best food we’ve had in quite some time. The goat cheese fritter salad is SUCH an experience. The decor is simple yet really tasteful. The atmosphere is chill and welcoming and our waiter was really funny and very kind. The experience was over all so wonderful and if we visit NH again we’ll be sure to be back!!!"

"There is a reason why Hagan's is consistently packed with people. The food may just be the best in the Hampton Beach area. Everything from the app to the desert were phenomenal. Prosciutto Wrapped Cod, Shrimp Linguine and Crispy Skin Salmon. All fresh and perfectly cooked. Then a brownie sundae to end it all. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and friendly and recommended a bourbon when the one I wanted was 86'd. Did I use that right? 86'd? I don't work in the industry, I just hang out in them. Gimme a break"
