Welcome to Dog's Retreat, a local family-owned and operated doggy daycare and boarding facility in Latham, New York. Our facility, located at 898 Troy-Schenectady Road, offers a safe and comfortable environment for your furry friends to play, socialize, and relax.
During our doggy daycare hours from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., we allow dogs to roam freely and enjoy our extended turf area without being kenneled. Our boarding services are available seven days a week, and you can even watch your pup via our 24/7 webcam. Your boarding price includes daycare and lots of tender loving care.
If your dog needs grooming services, our talented groomer can provide everything from basic grooming to luxurious spa treatments for all breeds. We also offer professional dog training sessions on weekdays and weekends to help your furry friend learn proper behavior around people and other pets.
Teresa and her family are passionate about dogs and treat each one as their own. If you have any questions or concerns about boarding your pet with us, please don't hesitate to reach out. "My pit-mix, Maci, loves coming here. At first, it was a new environment and she was hesitant but now it’s to the point where she waits by the gate to go in!! She’s always so tired when she comes home and gets the exercise she needs for her breed. We boarded her at the end of July when we went on vacation as well, and they took such good care of her. They accommodated her needs and answered my typical “how is she doing??” phone calls with ease. I’m beyond happy to know I found a place that treats my pup like she’s their own. "My labradoodle puppy Georgia LOVES coming here, I drop her off in the morning and grab her at night a few times a week and she’s always exhausted and never wants to leave. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pup. I started bringing her as soon as possible and now she’s great with other dogs, and I know I can trust the crew to make sure she’s safe here. If you’re stuck with an overly active pup like me, bring them here. You will not regret it!! Dogs aside the owner and her crew are top tier.
