The American chop suey, a first-time for me, was a delightful surprise—a comforting dish that felt like a warm hug on a plate. "This place is excellent. Great location on the main strip in Salem where festivals and shops are located. The service was excellent. Vanessa was our server and she did a fantastic job. Pork belly app is great. The gem crunch salad was very good. I had the roasted duck and it wasn't gamy in the slightest. Cooked perfectly. We also had the flat iron with chimchirri and it was very flavorful. Cocktails were excellent. The fade to black was their seasonal take on a black Manhattan and it is the best I've ever tasted. The bad apple was sweet, bit good. They make a great dirty and espresso martini. Would highly recommend."

"Truly a great brunch experience. Let me start with the service. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. Nothing but praise for all the staff there. The atmosphere was awesome too. You can tell if you look around that this place used to be a bank. And the fact that they added some decor to accentuate that made it even better. Now, the food. The food was outstanding in taste as well as visualy. My girlfriend got the salmon avocado toast and I didn't get to sample that, but it looked amazing. I got the cheese grits with a poached egg and pork belly. The grits and egg were good, but the pork belly stole the show. The flavor was sweet and smoky, and the texture was firm and crispy on the outside, but still very soft. A must try if you're in Salem."
