"It is a very cozy place in Downtown Boston. The food was amazing! My girlfriend and I like to share food, so we ordered an appetizer and an entree. The server was very accommodating. The prosciutto stuffed mushroom appetizer was absolutely amazing! We also had the chicken and broccoli fettuccine Alfredo and it was very good! I highly recommend this restaurant. However parking is a nightmare."
"Go for: The feeling of an old school neighborhood Italian restaurant. Avoid if: Unnecessary Italy-themed wall decorations bother you. Something surprising: The restaurant is much bigger than it seems, with a second seating area past the stairwell for the apartment building above. Reservation needed? No, not usually. Overall Experience: 3/5. A good neighborhood spot for East Boston residents. The portions and endless bread were appreciated and the people were friendly, but it was nothing to write home about. "DePalma is a wonderful little Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and authentically decorated. The service was attentive and gracious. The food was out of this world. The mushrooms stuffed with Cajun sausage was impeccable. The calamari very crispy and cooked perfectly. I had the Cajun swordfish over linguini. Probably the best I have ever had... If you're in Boston and have a craving for nItalian cuisine, this is the place to go."
