"We went there today and we tried their appetizer special the chicken Mozambique dip it was to die for. For dinner I had the braised short rib with Mashed potatoes it was tender and delicious, It fell right apart. My husband had the lamb pops appetizer with the truffle fries. He said it was so tender and flavorful. We tried their drink special which was eggnog martini. Let me tell you it was the best I’ve ever had. 10/10"

"This was a very nice small restaurant with great food and service. We were greeted and seated right away when my family and I walked in. The waitress was attentive and friendly. We got the mushroom marsala appetizer, short rib entree and others... If you love mushrooms, the appetizer was very fragrant and savory. (Definitely coming back for the pasta dish they have with the same mushrooms.) The short rib was very tender and not too salty."

"TL;DR Don't sleep on this one folks. We will NEVER visit New England again without making the drive to visit Black Salt. The atmosphere was modern edge but calming, spacious and naturally lit for our daytime visit and I can only picture a great evening ambiance as the sun fades. Being from Texas originally and visiting out of our Seattle area home we are still getting to know the unique personalities that are common in this area. I regret not getting a name but the woman who took care of us had a speed about her that would normally impart a rushed feel but when she looked at you to speak or to listen there was an intense feeling that in her mind everything ceased in anticipation of adding your needs to her internal to do list which was then executed in a expedient and orderly fashion. I could have spent all evening being a part of this process and not lost interest. The cocktail menu felt on season and had a draw about it with well paired ingredients, spirits, and the monikers. A list of beer by the can seemed carefully chosen and I enjoyed what they had available. All this way down in the review is not to say the priority was low for the food. The food was impeccable. The calamari and its accompanying slaw of vegetables covered in a sweet heat stick sauce with roasted peanuts gave us a modern Thai fusion feel and was amazing. The lobster ravioli was stuffed full inside and was accompanied by bright fresh tomatoes giving a cut of acid to a rich and hearty plate. The pork chop was insane. This is how pork is meant to be cooked. Any more words would take away from how perfect that plate was."
